Allison Camp

Since July 2019, Allison has been the Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach. As a former player in the DFW area club volleyball circuit as well as the high school circuit, she loves being back in Dallas and working with the players at Hockaday. In her five years at Hockaday, Allison has been part of two SPC Championships and five North Zone Championships. She is passionate about a fun and supportive program environment and about supporting students through loving the sport, collegiate recruiting, and navigating life as a high school student-athlete. Allison currently coaches club for Dallas Premier, where she has qualified teams for USAV Nationals and assists with club recruiting. In addition to coaching, Allison works in Hockaday’s College Counseling office as an Associate Director of College Counseling. Allison earned a B.S. in Sports Management from The University of South Carolina where she was the captain of the USC Women’s Club Volleyball Team and worked as an intern in the Athletic Department. In July of 2022, Allison earned a M.A. in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from Angelo State University. Allison is IMPACT/SafeSport certified, writes freelance and serves on coaches panels for PrepVolleyball.com and VolleyballMag.com, and is a member of the AVCA and Gold Medal Squared Volleyball.
