• Why give to the Annual Fund?

  Tuition and fees at Hockaday do not cover the full cost of each student’s education. Annual Fund gifts and draws from the endowment make up about 20 percent of the budget, while tuition and fees cover 74 percent.

• How can I make a gift to the Annual Fund?

  You can support Hockaday by making a gift of cash or appreciated assets.   Yes, Annual Fund gifts to Hockaday are tax deductible.

• Who gives to the Annual Fund?

  The Hockaday Annual Fund has many donors including alumnae, parents, grandparents, parents of alumnae, faculty, staff, trustees, friends, and corporate matching programs.

• Where does my money go?

  Annual Fund donations go directly to the operating budget of the School and have an immediate impact. Your gift means Hockaday can provide exceptional academic initiatives in classrooms equipped with the latest technologies, offer arts programs that inspire creativity and discovery, and provide athletic opportunities designed to encourage the spirit of competition and teamwork.
