Hockaday Orchestra Goes International
Selected string players (MSO-Julia Luo, Danica Ly, Hanna Zhang; USO-Charlene Brzesowsky, Jenny Choi, Antonia Dinulescu, Lin Lin Lee, Elli Lee, Anoushka Singhania, Daniela Vallejo, Sidney Wang) from the Hockaday Orchestra Program organized by Yung-Fang Hu Ludford, have been invited to play side by side with The New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving for 2017 SOLUNA International Music & Arts Festival on May 28 at Dallas City Performance Hall at 3:00 p.m. Read More
The concert is titled, “Latino Connections! The Rhythms of Dance!” featuring music inspired by dance - including works by famous Mexican and Argentine composers
Marquez, Ponce, Revueltas, Moncayo and Ginastera. Acclaimed Mexican conductor, Dr. Sergio Espinosa, also a proud daisy dad is the conductor of this concert.
