Reminder – Putting the “A” in STEAM – Hockaday/St. Mark’s Parents’ Associations 2017 Joint Meeting – January 19

With the opening of the new Hockaday science and arts centers and the upcoming St. Mark’s science center, a distinguished panel will feature an enlightened discussion with some of the greatest influencers of arts and sciences in our city and beyond. Reserve your spot on Thursday, January 19 at 8:15 a.m. at the Hockaday School to hear from panelists Dhruba Deb, Ph.D., oncology scientist and artist; David Hudgins, award-winning screenwriter and TV producer; Nancy A. Nasher, NorthPark Center owner and art collector; Stuart Ravnik, Ph.D. – Biomedical scientist, UT Southwestern associate dean and science education innovator; and, moderator and veteran journalist Lee Cullum. Please wear your name badge and allow a little extra time to park given expected attendance and carpool timing. Carpool ends at 8:00 a.m. and the program begins at 8:15 a.m. We recommend parking on the Forest Lane side and walking to the theater entrance near the NW corner (see circle drive on map). There will be additional parking spaces in the horseshoe at the Welch Road entrance, as parking is limited in the Fine Arts lot. You may park anywhere on the Forest Lane side of campus, including by Lower School. Please see the attached map for reference.
