Hockaday Celebrates Chinese New Year

On January 28, The Hockaday School and St. Mark’s School of Texas set a unifying example by bridging languages and cultures together, celebrating the festive Chinese New Year with marvelous performances and activities.  As the invited media, The Asian Media was welcomed by joyful and creative performances followed by traditional Chinese activities and treats.  As the advocates of cultural transmission through arts and academics, we were impressed by the devotions and efforts that both schools have contributed to celebrate the Chinese culture.  We hope one day all schools will adopt this tradition and further broaden the cultural bridge for us all!
