The Scientific Process in Social Impact Chemistry

Upper School's Social Impact Chemistry classes worked on modeling the scientific process this week.
They discussed how they can use the mass of objects to determine how many items (candies, atoms, or molecules) are in a container. Through this inquiry process, they will make their own meaning of what a mole is, and how chemists use it. This knowledge will help them understand how ozone contributes to air pollution and how they can measure it as part of their Social Impact project work.
