Doggie Data

Upper School Statistics, a Social Impact-designated class, visited an animal shelter this week in preparation for their data project with Dallas Animal Services.
Animal Services has created a program called “Doggie Daycation,” in which people can volunteer to take a dog for a day. DAS will keep data on this program – types of dogs taken, how quickly adopted or fostered, aggression, etc. After six months, the statistics class will analyze the data and provide a business report on the analysis to Animal Services.
