First Grade Researches Arctic Animals

As part of their social impact theme of animals, First Grade students have been working on their arctic animal project!
After selecting an animal to research, they designed a habitat using a shoebox and a variety of materials. In class, they gathered information by reading books and using other resources to take notes. They then transformed their notes into complete sentences and organized their findings into a final report. Each student had the opportunity to present their report and habitat model to their classmates.
