Leadership and Social Influence

Measuring Environmental Impact

Upper School Environmental Chemistry, a Social Impact class, took a field trip to West Dallas today to learn about some of the issues facing residents.
As they drove through the neighborhoods, they learned how industrial factories affect residents; how air quality and water quality can be radically different based on environmental factors, and what residents are doing to combat industrial pollution. They took air samples which they will bring back to campus to study and propose solutions for the area.
