Lower School Dream Lab Comes to Life

As part of Hockaday’s ongoing Innovation & Collaboration efforts, Lower School students have enjoyed visiting the Dream Lab, a repurposed area of the library.
The Dream Lab provides students with opportunities to develop skills, including complex problem-solving and collaboration, in a non-traditional space that functions as a classroom. In this space, students advocate for themselves and partner with one another to develop solutions for challenges posed by their teachers and the Dream Coordinator. The challenges are designed by the Dream Coordinator and Lower School faculty and integrate with the existing Lower School curriculum.
