A Note from Michelle Goldsmith

Dear Lower School Parents,

We are so excited to welcome you and your daughters back to campus next week. There are 51 students that are new to our Lower School community, and I hope you will join me in welcoming these girls when you see them. I have been waiting for the first day of school since beginning my role as Head of Lower School, and I am so excited that the day is almost here. The Lower School building is just not the same without the energy and enthusiasm of our students.

While I had the opportunity to meet many of you in my previous role, I look forward to getting to know all of you this year. Please feel free to drop by my office and say hello when you are on campus. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for Parents’ Night on Thursday, September 7.

On Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22, we look forward to seeing you and your daughters for Lower School Family Conferences. When you arrive, please enter through the LLARC entrance (to the west of the Lower School building). Once you have checked in, you can proceed to the Lower School building and your daughter’s homeroom classroom. Throughout the building, we will have Lower School subject-area teachers and office staff in hallways to help you find your daughter’s classroom. Note: Students do not need to wear uniforms during family conferences on Monday and Tuesday.

Please read all the information below carefully as we have included additional reminders about back-to-school events and procedures. If you have any questions between now and the beginning of school, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Best,
Michelle
