Calendar Reminders

Fall Conferences – The Middle School online sign-up procedure for fall conferences opened on October 1. Conferences are a great opportunity to engage in conversations regarding your daughter’s day-to-day life at Hockaday and for the goal-setting that will guide her endeavors this year. Middle School conferences for Grades 5-8 will take place throughout the day on Thursday, November 7 and the morning of Friday, November 8. The online conference scheduler will close at midnight on Tuesday, November 5.
 
Seventh Grade Arkansas Trip – Seventh Grade departs for Arkansas on Monday, October 28. Seventh grade parents, medical forms were due to the Health Center by Wednesday, October 23.

Middle School Athletics
As 7/8 fall sports ended last week, afternoon carpool will be a bit heavier until winter sports begin. Winter sports tryouts begin on Monday, November 11.
 
End of First Term Friday, November 1 
The Middle School has had an incredible first term. Parents will receive an email the week of November 4 notifying them when report cards are open and ready to view. The fifth and sixth graders will receive skills feedback and any necessary comments. Seventh and eighth graders will receive grades, skills feedback, and any necessary comments.
