  • Fifth Grade 5/6 Commons
  • Sixth Grade 7/8 Commons

Halloween Costume Guidelines

All costumes should be appropriate for school and follow the “spirit” of free dress day guidelines (no bare mid-sections or excessively short, or sheer costumes):
  • Costumes should allow the girls to sit comfortably in class and attend to their academics without distraction.
  • Real shoes need to be worn. No flip flops, platform shoes, or excessively high heels.
  • Headgear must not block the wearer’s or anyone else’s vision in the classroom.
  • Costumes must be safe to move around in. No long trailing items that would cause the wearer or someone near her to trip may be worn.
  • Masks may not be worn; but limited face paint is allowed.
  • In physical education, girls will be asked to put on socks and sneakers so they should bring those items to school.
