Upper School Summer Course Registration Now Open

Summer at Hockaday 2016 For-Credit Courses will include Self-Defense, US Government, and History of Art & Music. Registration is now open. Please note, there are 18 seats available for students who wish to take both HAM & US Government. Registration is first-come, first-served through the Summer at Hockaday registration site. Payment in full at the time of registration is required. Read more

Class limits are set at 30 for HAM and 18 for an individual section of GOV. There is a minimum of 12 students for the Self-Defense class to make. The 11:30 Government class is currently reserved for those registering for both HAM and GOV. There are 18 seats for those taking both HAM and GOV.
 
It is important to note that the summer courses adhere to a strict attendance policy that does not allow exceptions. No more than 3 absences will be allowed within a 6-week course for credit to be given. No more than 1 absence in a 2-week course will be allowed for credit to be given.

History of Art & Music (Ed Long):
June 6 – July 15, 8:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (30 spots)
Tuition: $983
 
US Government (Garrett Freeman):
June 6 – July 15, 8:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (18 spots)
June 6 – July 15, 11:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. (18 spots – reserved for students taking HAM & US Gov)
Tuition: $914
 
Self-Defense (Meg Hinkley):
June 6 – June 17, 2:00 p.m. – 4:35 p.m. (Minimum of 12 students needed for course to be offered)
Tuition: $577
