The Hockaday Experience
Innovation and Collaboration

Students Hear from Entrepreneurs

Students in Breaking the Glass Ceiling visited Hari Mari to hear from the founders about their journey in social entrepreneurship.
They had the opportunity to ask questions about developing a business and review their own prototypes.
Students in Breaking the Glass Ceiling learn economic principles and the incubation of a business and engage in real-world learning from co-teachers who are Hockaday alumnae and industry leaders. They develop and pitch a culminating socially conscious business plan that addresses a current world issue and compete for funding.
