Winter SPC 2019
Come out to Fort Worth and support our Varsity Winter Athletes as they compete in SPC February 14 – 16.  Check www.spcsports.org for updated bracket information for basketball and soccer.  Swimming and Diving will compete at Keller ISD Natatorium - 1000 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX on Saturday, February 16 starting at 8 am.  

Middle and Upper School Parent Coffee
Join Director of Athletics, Deb Surgi for a Q&A as you prepare for the Spring Season on Monday, February 11 at 8:15 am in Clements.


7/8 Sports
Tryouts for spring sports (softball, track and field, and lacrosse) will be held for seventh and eighth grade athletes beginning on Tuesday, February 19 at 3:30 pm. There will be no tryouts for spring tennis as those were held in November. Spring tennis athletes will report to practice on February 19. Deb Surgi will hold a meeting for parents of spring athletes on Monday, February 11 at 8:15 am in Clements Lecture Hall.

Senior Nights
Please mark your calendars and come out to support our winter teams as they celebrate their Seniors on the following nights:
   Varsity Swimming: February 7 at 5:45 pm at St. Mark’s
   Varsity Basketball: February 12 at 5:00 pm in Penson Gym; Senior Celebration at halftime

Athletics Signing Day
Hockaday will celebrate our student athletes who have committed to play intercollegiate athletics on February 26 from 3:00–4:00 pm in The Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Family Theater.
 
Spring Sports
Upper School Spring Sports: crew, fencing, lacrosse, golf, softball, tennis, track & field. The Upper School spring sports practices began on Monday, February 4 for all students not on a winter team. Spring sports tryout period is February 19–21.

Color Run
Please come out to support the Hockaday Athletics Community COLOR RUN (1 mile course) on Wednesday, March 27! The color run will begin at 4:30 pm, and all Hockaday students, faculty, staff, and families are invited to participate. Registration will be available soon.  All Lower School and Middle School students must be accompanied by a parent either in the run or at the start and finish line. A food truck and Steel City Pops will be available for purchase.
