Head of School Installation
Please mark your calendar for a community-wide celebration on Sunday, October 15 for the Installation of Dr. Karen Warren Coleman, Eugene McDermott Head of School. The Installation will begin at 3:00 pm in Penson Athletic Center and will be followed by a reception on Ashley H. Priddy Commencement Terrace. All students from first grade through Form IV will attend and will process during the ceremony. Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students will be invited to attend with their parents. Dr. David A. Greene, President of Colby College, will be the keynote speaker. We will also hear from Dr. Coleman who will reflect on our School’s mission and history and share her vision for the coming years at Hockaday. The community-wide reception after the ceremony will include music by a quartet from Emerald City and snacks and desserts by SAGE Dining. It is going to be a wonderful Hockaday celebration and we hope you will plan to attend!
