Privacy Statement
At The Hockaday School (the School), we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We recognize that our primary responsibility is to meet the interests and needs of our school community, applicants and friends of the School. We also want you to understand how we use our constituent profile information and the choices you can make about the way your information may be displayed to other constituents or used by the School.

Information Collected and Automatically Stored
The only information involuntarily collected includes general information such as IP address, generic demographics, pages visited and length of stay. This information is gathered to enhance your visit to our website. No personally identifying information is gathered, unless voluntarily given and described at the point of collection in the following instances: to contact the school, to request information, applications, re-enrollment applications, update information and event registration. If you provide contact information, School staff may contact you to answer your question or comment. Hockaday constituents who register with the Site will provide a login, but the School will not have access to their personal passwords. The School is PCI-compliant with username and passwords.
 
Opt-Out Selection
Should you choose to do so, you may opt-out of receiving any communication from the School, including emails. In the password-protected areas, Hockaday constituents may chose not to publish their profile information, including contact information.
 
Information Regarding Minors
We don’t collect any information!
 
The Hockaday School is a non-profit entity which is in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect any voluntary information from children under the age of 13 without prior parental consent.
 
Financial Information
All financial information, such as tuition, Annual Fund or event payments, is processed through a secure third-party, which is PCI-compliant. Information requested can include name, address and credit card number and expiration date. None of your financial information is retained or accessible by the School. We do not share information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the transaction.

Within the private school community, The Hockaday School is an independent college-preparatory day school for girls from grades PK–12 located in Dallas, Texas.
